Where Is Marsa Alam?

While people may have heard of the exotic sounding holiday resort, with its excellent diving facilities, luxury hotels and beach resorts, a simple question still seems to persist – ‘where is Marsa Alam?’Marsa Alam is located in Egypt, northeast Africa. The resort is specifically in the southeast of the country about 300 Kilometres east of Luxor. It is currently Egypt’s southernmost holiday resort 280 Kilometres below Hurghada on the Western coastline of the Red Sea.

Roughly speaking, a flight from the UK to Marsa Alam International Airport should take somewhere in the region of 4 hours and 45 minutes.
