Marsa Alam weather is consistently hot and rain-free
With sunny, cloudless skies and very little rainfall, Marsa Alam is truly a year round holiday destination. At the peak of the summer season in July and August, temperatures can reach in excess of 34 degrees Celsius with around 11 hours of sunshine per day. Even during the winter months, temperatures consistently exceed 20 degrees Celsius, though the evenings will often see a dramatic decrease in temperature.
Although sometimes stiflingly hot, Marsa Alam does benefit from pleasant coastal breezes from the Red Sea. Off the coast of Marsa Alam, the temperature of the Red Sea itself ranges from 22 to 29 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
